Ryan Caldwell started working in the Cactus Theater box office in 2006 while completing her bachelor’s degree at Texas Tech. Working her way from ticket sales to box office manager, in 2008 Ryan moved to the main office handling promotions and marketing for the Cactus. From creating the quarterly mailers and the theater programs to ads and commercials, Ryan’s involvement didn’t stop there. Wearing several creative hats, she became the theater’s photographer, briefly helped build sets and ran show lighting and helped with Fourth on Broadway. Over the years, Ryan worked along side with the Texas Rhythm Machine drummer and bandleader, Toby Caldwell. The two started dating in 2009 and in 2011 Ryan and Toby packed their bags and moved to Nashville, TN to pursue their careers. Ryan started her business, RYOBY Designs, focusing on her photography and graphic design, including the cover photo for Leon Russell's latest album “Life Journey”. In 2012 Ryan and Toby got married and welcomed their daughter, Charlie Bo Caldwell, in 2015.
